in collaboration with Sun Life Financial
In collaboration with Sun Life Financial, the Montreal Canadiens are offering a one-week hockey camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). In order to ensure that a program is tailored with the health of these children in mind, the camp can count on the expertise of Dskate, which specializes in creating unique programs that combine hockey and diabetes-related education.
Teaching hockey skills and sharing knowledge about T1D, the camp will be conceptualized specifically for young diabetics and their families. It will bring together sports professionals who propose a unique approach to maximize talent development and the overall abilities of young players. It will also offer training sessions for participants and their parents on managing diabetes.
